Polar 115em clamping problem

Hi everybody i have a polar 115 em everyday i cut paper normally but after 3 or 4hours work the clamp goes down when i press the pédal but there is no additional pressure when i push cutting buttons

Good Day, hope you are
I recommend you, Check hydraulic Oil Level First.
Since the lack of Hydraulic Oil, of the lack of enough Viscoity (to due Old Hydraulic Oil), can cause it.
Maybe need replace the Old H.O and Clean or Replace the O.Filter too.
Air in the system!!. Test it .

See the Small Windows in the right side of Polar
and see if the level H.O is o.k .

Otherwise you must Refill it,and BLEED the system from Air, this cause Enought
Problem in the paper Cutters.

Of course additional problem Mixing with the electronic/electrical/mechanical can be involved.
in the Electrical/electronic-Valves + Unit Control Hydraulic+Mechanical.

I had a similar problem on Polar 58 em.
The reason for it was the low level of hydraulic oil.
But after the oil refilling the problem has not recovered.
The cutter does not work properly.
I need a professional consultant to fix it.

Hi, you must Bleeding the complete system
The paper cutter will be NOT stable unless you take out or eliminate the air
in clutch+clamp.
Rear in where the Box gear:1) are 2 Screw with ball. Push the ball while another person is executting the cutter push button until the
air is coming this place is for clamp.2) In the gear box there a small Allen screw, same the like steps 1.3)Working cylinder another allen screw proceed with the same way. 4) Clutch in the steps 1 you did the Clamp, inmediately below the same system for bleeding the clutch until completely air is coming push the ball very hard.
Of course see if the Oil is the same recommend for factory and has until the Windows indicate level.

I have done all the points in that order.
However, it seems to me that the system pressure is too high.
Before fault the cutter worked softer, perhaps it was due to air in the system.
What is the operating pressure in the knife and clamp cylinders?

Assuming that paper cutter is 115 Clutch:75 bar +Clamping: min:30 bar + max;110 bar
You must measure the bar with Manometer having Bars.
You can adjust it both.

The hydraulic Pump in this Polar you do need bleed air .

Only the rest of system hydraulic.

1) Must sure, the you have complete the Cristal Eye completely Full of the Hydraulic Oil, otherwise you must again air in the hydraulic system.

2) Not leakage in the pipes, connections, and other components in the hydraulic system.

When you press the cut button, knife+ clamp work well , right??

When is the time , that clamp release??? , Please explain carefully.

The clamp releases when i push the knife cutting buttons,then drops to hold again while knife drops to cut.What might be the issue.

 

In others words, the clamp is NOT coming down, only the Knife.
1) see if the hydraulic oil , in eye recipient is Full, otherwise his system has Air, need to refill and bleeding the hydraulic, very well.

2) Some leaking hydraulic un the hydraulic block, or Pipes, retainer, or O- rings.

3) the kinematics system spring, Out of adjustment.

4) Dirty, in the place where's Lube with Grease, clean and Lube again.

5) Springs broken in hydraulic block!

6) No +42 VDC, in the solenoid x Clamp , or solenoid clamp defective,!!

7) Entire hydraulic block defective.

 

Clap is going down but when knife buttons are pressed clamp releases abit then clamps again and knife cuts.

 

Proceed with the Steps!!!

 

However test the limit switch in Gear box too.

 

Could they be the problem,because the knife is completing the cycle correctly.

 

Its the clamp that's malfunctioning
