    Hi sir Good day
    Hope you are well
If his machine GTO 52 1 color:
    1) Test the power supply +24Vdc
    2) See in the schematic diagram if the coil E20 is activated.
    3) By contacts or Relais: k14+k15 ( this relais both Coils must be activaded)
If everything is O.k the Counter is defective.
But if some elements that i did mentioned is defective Repair.

Most likely cause of problem is the roller switch under the feed board. Look at condition of roller by pushing down on pivoting lever, see if it is loose on axle. Also, pivoting lever may be badly worn.

Yes it is, or I should say it is the same type. There are different versions of this Siemens roller switch and differ only in the internal configuration (quantity of NO and NC contacts it contains). Be sure it is sold for the correct application. The tag is usually on the left side as you’re looking at it mounted under the feedboard, so to see the tag you either have to remove the switch or use a mirror. As I’d mentioned, the contacts are usually not the problem, it’s wear in the wheel and pivoting lever.
