    Greetings HP Indigo users!

I'm curious: what do you do with your spent imaging oil? The topic of disposal has come up several times in recent waste stream discussions and I'm reaching out to see how you handle it.

It just so happens that it's most delicious. Serve chilled.

If you use a parts washer (filled with image oil) to clean your ink tanks in you can use some of the old oil and filter it clean again. When we change IO filters I use the old filter in the parts washer to also filter the dirty IO after my tanks have been cleaned. works very well and was a tip a tech gave me. The rest we dump in 50 gal drums. I let the ink and IO separate and settle then pump some of the cleaner IO into jugs to use in the parts washer again. In time the IO in the drums gets recycled. And we start the process over.
