When it stops can you run the press straight away?
or have you got to reboot the DI ?
or clear any errors faults i.e double sheet error ?
    Regards Frank.

First you need to know what is happens after the fault occurs before considering x7.

X7 should be considering especially if the blowers come on or if the panel resets.

If you can run the press after a few seconds (1min) after it stops, then you have air leaks which will cause the press to stop.

My last DI customer had 2 faults with his DI Yes X7 was damaged RED wire pins, but also he had air leaks. The problem was the

customer did not consider he had 2 faults, hence why his press could not be fixed until i attended site and repaired both problems.

His press is up and running well now :)

Look at the air pressure guage on the air compressor. If it gets below 6.5 bars when you put everything on impression the press with stop. Like Frank said, it could be air. One of the short stroke pistons is leaking if I were to guess.

Another good way to check if your machine has any air issues which will stop the machine till the air build ups and allows you to run again. On the Computer Screen you have 5 options at the top, select the 3rd option which displays amount of plates remaining too :). Now just to prove the point you can do a small test first. Open the air valve to allow the press to lose air. Watch the screen, as the pressure drops below min you will see a red stop button displayed on the same screen, at the same time. (SF56 code will confirm air below min. too). Now run the press as normal and have the same screen selected, if you machine stops due to loss of pneumatic air then the same red stop button will display and in SF code 56 error for low air warning.

Bearing in mind.. More feedback would help provide better support .. and better still if you have found the problem to post back and let us know. :)

Hi Frank - I have just posted a thread regarding pressure loss when going onto impression. This occurs randomly though - not always. Please check my post and let me know if you have any advice.

    Thank you

    Hi Ahmed

We use anti-skin spray daily. At the end of the day we do not empty the ink ducts. Instead we spray the ink surface with a light spray of anti-skin spray. We do the same with the ink tubs before sealing them at the end of the day.

This works really well - we also spray the ink duct roller.
Next morning - the ink is still in good shape. May skin very slightly depending on weather conditions

Hope this helps answer your query.

    Regards

    Shawn
