also the blades have a bevel on one side .witch side should go against the roller.

 

The clear desmopan seals were not a problem, only some of the black EDPN were too small. Just a quick check is to slide the seal in and it should lift the doctorblades up by atleast 1mm. You should be able to see it and feel the difference. The desmopan seal has a very flat face and is a lot stiffer than the black seals and traps dry varnish very easy if you are reverse doctoring(drips under the chamber). Give my regards to Richard Carter at Heidelberg if you see him. Tell him Anilox Kev was asking. Hope this helps and I would advise using the plastic bottom blade it makes a massive difference. Pleased to report our Anilox coating is no longer dribbling down bottom blade making cleaning a regular hassle. all we did was replace the top feed line with a softer compound hose... only took 6 years to figure out.. yay us

 

Am I the only one using the felt ends packed with grease.am I missing something?

 

have you tried using felt ends that are impregnated with oil . We us them and never have A problem . Also to much presser will cause it to leak also
