    Hi everyone,
We are still looking for a system to buy. Does anyone use the Duplo system 2000 and if so what do you think about it.

The DBM 2000 is a good system if you are under 15,000 books a month, the max book thickness is 20 sheets of 20lb bond (brand new). There are problems with the DBM2000 system that are related to the 10/60 and the 120 and 120-t, related to feed, processing and the BG circuit (BG units only). Overall the system is reliable and will give years of service, Note: if the system is over 6 years old order and replace the backup battery or you will send the control panel back to Duplo for reprograming. Be careful, unless you replace the battery in a live state, you have 30 seconds before the 10/60 becomes a paper weight. If you have further questions e-mail me.

We run a duplo dbm 200 and I have never experienced any problems with it. I ran 11,000 books of 28 page and never had one misfeed or jam during the whole job.

Duplo 2000 is very easy to setup and use. If there is a problem it is usually that a sucker or suckers need to be replaced.

i have a 2000 system, its a great and dependable and easy to operate but we've outgrown it and wished we purchased the 5000 system off the bat. Part of the reason is that the staple heads need to be replaced about every 50,000 hits... which for us is every 2 months (@$200 a piece) and is a little underpowered when finishing 38 pgers. If you can get a second tower do it, hand marrying 14 sheets plus the bins can be tedious and time consuming.

Hello, I have a system 5000 tower with DBM 400, passed the test booklets, but it does not go into continuous production mode.
Can you help me with any ideas?
