Looking for some help regarding this issue. Firstly i have put new bids in, changed and rebuilt ink and still causes issues. Press comes up with a high voltage error from various bid units when i try to run. Normally does this afyer a little bit of run time or if its left standing for 5 mins waiting. If i change the bdu for that particular unit i might get lucky and it'll work again but majority of time it doesnt. Have to switch off till next day. Causing a production nightmare now and wondered if it was another issue like a board or software problem. Press is a hp5000 5 colour. Any advice would help and thanks in advance

I am having a similar problem, but only with the black bid. I took the bid connector off of the back of the press (2 screws and the bracket comes off) and cleaned the contacts and made sure the springs aren't binding. Pull the bid out a bit before reinstalling the connector. This seems to have solved the problem today, we shall see tomorrow if it holds... On the 3050 i run, all the bids are powered by the same power supply, not sure if thats the case with the 5000. Check all the wire connections etc.

update on my issue...done everything everyone suggested and finally came to the solution that one of the BDU modules was faulty causing a knock on effect. put a spare in and have all my bids running again although there is still a voltage problem as it says that i.e bid 3 measured 4.21v outside from the range 0f 4.45v 5.15v and this is on 2 of the bids ...i will see if this disapears when i install new BDU module
