Fiery EXP250 help

    Hi everyone. I recently bought a DC240 with a Fiery EXP250 that was giving me problems connecting to the copier. I bought the new media kit which came with the 1.1 system disk and I am trying to re-install the software but I keep getting 2 error codes:

    Error 952 in usb_uib_send_command....Couldn't find the UIB

    Error 700 in usb_uib_send_command...Can't find UIB

    The small screen on the front of the unit does work and appears to be connected properly. I am not sure what is going on.

    I am trying desperately to get this up and running so I can get some work out for my customers. I would appreciate any help I can get on getting this done.

    Your EXP250 is a non Rohs system and you purchased the Rohs version software. The two different types have a different interface for the front screen lcd. What is the serial number of the EXP250?

    Milo,

    Thank you for getting back to me on my problem, I appreciate your help. The back of my EXP250 has 2 labels on it. The first one has a serial number of T00047692. The second label has 3 numbers on it: WYM914990, 3079149909, 914990. The LCD is connected to the motherboard by a small ribbon cable, there is no USB connection for the display. If I did get the wrong software, do you know where I can get the correct software?

    The original reason I bought the software to update the Fiery is because when I start the unit it freezes with the Fiery logo and System 6 on the lcd screen and does not proceed beyond that point. If there is a better fix please let me know.

    Yes that was the problem he had and it fixed it.

    Hello Milo, I'm new here. I have a Xerox Docucolor 250 with EXP 250 Server v. 1.1. I only have old version 1.0 boot disk for installation and I nedd to do a new fresh installation because my 1.1 server doesn't work. Can you help me? You have 1.1 installation disks?
