Which B2 Offset is better for packaging

My company now we have a Heidelberg Speedmaster 74-4P3-H.Consider changing the machine because we need extra tower for varnishes.Which machine is better for carton printing on B2 format?Τhe material thickness used is 0.06mm-0,60mm.
I'm between :
-Heidelberg Sm 74-5+L model 1997-2000
-Kba Rapida 74-5+L model 2001-2005
-Man Roland 205+L model 2004 and up
I know how the Heidelberg CD or XL and Man Roland 500 is perfect for packaging but is so expensive for me.
Leaning towards the Kba Rapida 74 because has double impressions cylinder and transfer unlike the Heidelberg SM7-5.
Any opinion is welcome.

 

SM 74 is not a board press - drop it
R 205 is a good press but rather old Techwise
Rapida is strong and prints nice but has alot ot Tech issues

i would say - look for a Komori Lithrone - good for boar and low in budget.

Go for a CD 74, I know it's expensive but will pay back your investment. You can find an earlier model of CD74 that is mechanically in good condition.

 

buy what ever you feel like ...but my opinion:
a CD 74 will cost more then a Komori , and it will also cost more to run (spare parts) from installation day on.
A Komori will be cheaper to buy , cheaper to run , and yet give you excellent quality & productivity.

My experience is mostly with Heidelberg and in my country, print market gradually switched a few years back to Heidelberg just because of less maintenance work needed and are less expensive to own.
There are many Komori presses installed here but people mostly run thin paper on them.

 

Whatever press you decide on you would be well served to ALWAYS try to run grain long paper. In that format, availability of grain long can be much more difficult, but in my opinion well worth the effort to obtain it.

 

First of all sorry for my bad English, and thanks for your answers.Before few years I had a Komori Lithrone 428 esa 1993.Although it was a double cylinder impressions I 'm not happy with the printing of Komori.As regards the Sm74 I'm very pleased with the printing and quality construction.The thickness of paper that I want to print is 0.6mm and the ceiling of SM74.If I find cardboard with grain long papers will I have printing problems in dark issues and used super blue on transfer cylinder?I would prefer a machine from Germany (Kba-Man Roland or Heidelberg)mainly for reliability, the fast spare parts and technical assistance.
Unfortunately my budget is not enough for CD74 now.

 

If you want Heidelberg in this format for packaging then you must also consider SM72. It has a bit advantage over SM74 due to its larger diameter cylinders.
