I am planning to start a small scale business of custom textile printing in Toronto. One of my friends produces plain t-shirts in bulk, which I can use for the printing. Before going forward with the plan, I need few opinions and suggestions about the whole printing process. I heard about direct to garment printers and also screen printers. Which produces better quality prints? Which of the two is cheaper? Are these printers good enough for printing t-shirts to sell in a small locality, which is the city of Toronto?

    Hello,
The main difference between direct to garment printer and the screen printing are the process and printing result. Click here for detailed description

We are the manufacturer of garment printer since 2001. So, in comparing, digital printer offers better printing quality without any thickness feeling on t-shirt, and it is more cheaper with only USD0.1 for each t-shirt. As you are not requiring for a mass production amout, I would suggest you to take the direct garment printer to save your cost and earn market reputation. here are some printed samples, not only for t-shirts but also bags, shoes, wash cloths, caps, jeans, socks and other products that made of cotton, fabric, canvas etc.....
