    Xp 2020 toners/drum

    Diggi'n up the thread.

    Iv'e got a Intec XP2020.

Would a OKI C9600 drum and toner fit to the intec. Iv'e got various recommendations in this matter?!

Or is there any good advice to get hold of working "replacement" drums/toners.

The oem is far too expensive to get the economy in print making

Please if some one could help me out here.

    Regards Larz

DRUMS & TONERS from different OKIs in to INTEC

    Is it XP-2020 or CP-2020?
In any case... Drums have physical preventing device (that prevents you from using Drums dedicated for other brands) there is a black tablet behind each drum on a backwall of your printer held by 1 screw. If you remove it, it will make your printer universal recipient for any brand of the drums. One more thing... Set of plastic pins have to be configured to match those on toner cartridge (they're easy on/of but will need pliers for that)
Toner Cartridges are different, they use RFID chip, Code on the chip must exactly match your printer so if there are chips exist for your printer - you're in luck and there are chips for Intec 2020. I will attach picture where they are, you need to change the chip and reconfigure pins at the bottom of a cartridge to match those on the drum.
Disclamer: I have to honestly say that I never had a chance to play/experiment with Intec Branded OKi but all this swapping worked well between various OKI models, Xerox Phaser 7400 etc.

Hi Nat I think this is a long shot as your post is 5 years old ( Where did you purchase your Intec printer from. I can't find any anywhere.

    Hi Nat,
what printer would you recommend that handles 255gsm or better 305gsm paper in auto duplex mode ? I need it for postcards printing, max A4 support will suffice. Its a pilot project so volume is not high at all. Any tips?
    thanks

Hi, I'd like to save your time researching. A4 format machine that can flip 300+gsm is non existent. Generally, a printing device that can duplex and accurately register 300+gsm media would likely start at $100k if not more. Kodak 2100, some very high end Xerox digital press series, HP Indigos are likely can. As far as I know there is no "on the budget device (less than 100grand)" that designed to duplex 300 gsm and up.
