Magenta Overload

    Hello,
    We have a serious issue with our magenta on press. We use Toyo UV inks and print on 30 mil PVC. We use a Komori S29. We have tried everything to reduce how heavy magenta is, but to no avail. I am not a pressman (graphic artist) and our pressman is not formally trained. We are picking up about 20% on the magenta. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I would suggest you check your dot gain curve of the magenta plate with your rip.

    You mean your 50% Patch is measuring 70%?
