Help me figure out the impressions...

I have attached a photo of the counters on our QMDI-Pro but I am confused to why the counter shows a negative number (-694911314) as the total sheets printed count, while the revolutions are 19.9mil.

Any idea what this means or what the total impressions actually are.

There is no way that the machine has 694 million impressions and compared to the idle time "revolution count" it doesn't match up.

It looks like you may have an older version of software on the machine. Version 4.00 fixed the following issue:

"The counters for ”Total no. of press rotations” and ”Total no. of print sheets” are now functioning correctly."

If I remember correctly one of the counters ran backwards on machines with prior versions of the software. There is an EPROM on the ZTK board and the software version will be on it.

 

So in-order to get the proper machine counts, I would need to upgrade the software? The software installed does show it's 04.00.

 

It should be counting correctly with that software.
