3 weeks ago, station 4 stopped auto-plating, removing plates still OK - "set" light off, we're plating by hand.
this week, station 3 started doing same thing, no auto-plate, no "set" light.
new pressman of 5 weeks - self taught on press with manuals
    - is problem in press or procedure of new pressman?
    tks

sounds like pressman. start with 1st unit taking plate off. once plate is off your in mode to put plate on, on same unit.

    error code 934 - 944

reversed the procedure this morning - resulted in two error codes
934 for third station - and
944 for forth station - looking to find the meaning of these two codes
    looking for the manual now

I would start by checking the air pressure. I have also seen the clamps act up if the operator is manually trying to kick the plates. Hopefully you do not have a board going out if so that could get expensive.

tks will have him check air tomorrow
I have to say that I made a mistake in my first entry - the plates DO auto On - it is the auto_OFF that is giving the error message - tks again

Check the clamps to make sure they have not been moved for register. I just had a problem with the release for that reason.
