Hello friends,currently we have sm-102-4-p3 year 2000 serial no 543233 machine.w'll going to buy Sm 102-6+lx machine as a secondhand.As our prior experience we have lot of repairs(ex gripper adjustment).w'll try to buy after 2000 machine with touch screen.our Sm-102-4-p3 machine also has gripper adjustment and delivery chain,chain guide replacement.Specially we have register problem between 2nd and 3rd unit(perfecting unit is located between 2nd and 3rd unit).register out shown middle of the printed sheet.I guess this is from pincer gripper bar.But i don't any adjustment because i haven't any document.these two reasons i want manual before dismantle machine for repairs.

 

You will need special tools to repair and adjust the grippers on pincer bar. Without proper tools you can't adjust the gripper timings and height of the pincer bar/grippers. Better to call an experienced tech.

 

I strongly recommend that you ask skilled and qualified Service Engineer to check possible malfunctions on your machine. As Asif explained, you need special tools for repairing and beside that you should have experience how to check, dismantle and re-install grippers bars and other mechanical parts. You may have severe problems or damage the parts if you want to do it yourself.
