H uv Test

Anyone every tested H uv ink brands, we are setting up a GL840 with Toyo ink, any one had good luck with other brands of H uv.

 

Toyo is a good choice, also INX and T&K Toka

 

Also when you are testing make sure to throw your hardest job at Komori with very heavy process builds. This is where H-UV may have issue curing.
Also if you plan on running plastic make sure to test before signing off.

 

Hi Shart I have tested three inks concerning HUV, Toyo has always been the best performer dont know what your requirements are, need to look at misting, ink fly and blanket memory as they are the biggest problems, drying is a complete 180 degree turn around no drying problems uncoated but then you get problems on coated stocks mainly in the folders and stiching lines.

 

T&K Toka is the best option for Toyo

 

Is the H-UV a perfector ? After the perfector do the new Komori presses have skelontonized transfers and ventri pan sheet guides? or do they have shells on transfer and metal sheet guide rings underneath? We have huge build ups of ink on venturi pans after our perfector. I'm just wondering if komori ever did anything for future costumers after they saw how ours performed.
