    Hi Gents,
Our press keeps displaying 2 sheet errors on both side lays and will not take a sheet.
Have checked usual things like paper thickness settings & lay plate height.
It is not showing any errors on console
    Any ideas please.

Good day! It may be worth to check for mechanical damage to the sensor, also check the condition of sensor assemblies . To check the approach of the sheet according to the degree of the machine .Also visually check the operation of sensors on the control panel of the feeder and on the console . Check the system approach of the sheet. Good luck.

Its very unusual to have both side guides detecting a false double sheet. Check to make sure that the module is securely plugged in. Under the feed board on the drive side is a black box with 2 wires coming out of one side and a single screw in connector on the other. It is this single screw in connector that links the press to the computer. Obvious checks are to make sure that the side guides are both completely down when pulling a sheet. Make sure lifting time is 66 degrees. Make sure sheet is arriving at head stops at or close to 300 degrees. Make sure the transfer gripper is closing on the sheet at 71 degrees. Make sure you are getting some milliamp feedback in the V/A screen. Is your machine compact or modular? Has any work been done to the side guides or double sheet detectors lately? All of this could have an effect on your doublesheeter.

The pull lay double sheet sensors gave us hell lately for an XL 105, turns out the machine was configured for a double sided monitoring, means both pull lay double sheet systems have to be ok for either to work, whats the condition like in your case does the sheet stream stop before it reaches the pull lay or you get this error when the sheets are pulled?

    Thanks for the feed back.
Simple answer in the end a rat had chewed though the cable to main cabinet.

What is the smallest sheet size could be entered and what is the error appearing in the display? may you have mechanical issue in the side lay spindle.

Can you swap SSK boards in the main cabinet (in case of CPTronic modular)
