    Hi,
Wish someone could assist to shed light on why unit 2 plate cylinder does not stop at the appropriate position for plate to be fixed/removed. We have ensured that the plate cylinder( circumferential register is at zero position) coarse register is set to zero. Also ensured that the coarse register sensor B53 works and switches correctly. When we initiate plate fixing procedure, the machine moves but will stop before the appropriate position for plate to be fixed. Since the stopping position for each unit seems to be programmed, who knows how this is achieved?
    Eagerly awaits your prompt response.

How did you check sensor B53? You may to run circumferential register control in service mode.

    Hi Matthew,
Thanks for your prompt response. I checked sensor B53 signals via the input/output screen on the CPtronic console and additionally by using multimeter at input 53, Fem64, unit2 Lvt box where it switches consistently. How do you run the circumferential register control in service?

5Ok, you need to pop up Heidelberg Service Menu bu intiating two push buttons on distributor module SFK. In this page you may find a button which has same symbol as register control or a zero with two arrows up and down. Run machine in crawl speed, then select the corresponding unit and wait while it turns off. Before you start, you need to adjust circumferential adjustment to zero on all printing units. If machine is perfecting mode, back to straight and proceed.

    Good luck,

    Hi Mathew,
Tried to pop up the service mode page via two push buttons on SFK board did not give a page display. I dd this several times. What could i be doing wrong? Will still like further guidance from u on this.
Meanwhile, this problem was later traced to a defective valve bank plug in board for unit2, now replaced and unit positioning now okay. But i will expect your feedback on the service mode issue. Regards,
