We are using Toyo Inks to produce specials colours to tight Lab compliance. My printers are achieving good DE0.5 values when printed but are finding a significant dry back that takes them way out of tolerence 3-4 days later. Any ideas please?

is the sheet Aqueous or UV coated?
When we did our press we ran the samples about .05 points heavy and checked the ⌂E with dryback a few days later to determine our wet densities.

    Hi Jaed
Thanks for the reply. We are applying a matt varnish and not using a coating on these colours.

theres your answer. Matte varnish will soften up densities a bunch when dry.
