What do you need the software to do for you? Queue jobs? Auto-billing based on coverage, media, size? Manage/assign jobs to multiple printers?

I highly recommend Flexi sign to start with as this will do all of your cutting needs but also comes with a print capability for small shops an add on rip for larger sign businesses is PhotoPrint this will allow multiple printers better colour options hot folders etc. This provides an all round solution. Keep in mind this is design for a sign shop. Once it becomes a true large format environment you need a more suitable rip.

We use easysign which is pretty sophisticated and works well for us. Flexi sign and photoprint has a great reputation also but not familiar with it. Most of the software companies will supply demo discs for free so take advantage of it and you'll soon find the one that feels right.
    hope that helps.
There is also a software to assist the running of your business. I think its called Estimate

At our shop www.bannersdirect.co.uk we price per m2 which keeps things simple, quick to work out so with telephone or email enquiries you look fast and efficient.
