    Hey there,

Our QMDI Classic blew an air hose while running and, after patching it, won't inch or run, and double-pressing the inch button is ignored. There were sheets in it when it faulted (and emergency stopped). Now it's reporting errors 15-01, 15-03, 15-06, and 12-12. I understand what these mean, and I figure the motor control board is getting the 'no-go' signal. We rotated the press manually to remove all the sheets (phew!) and there is no change in the error codes. I've re-seated the relevant cables in the cabinet (including X7, which we've had problems with), and cleaned all the paper-path sensors, and nothing changes. Got a big job due tomorrow, so any ideas are super helpful!!

    Thanks!

All lights blinking as normally and no #?

Edit: I did read first that you don´t have errors anymore, but you do have.

Lights are blinking as normal, except run buttons. I got the PDFs you sent, and I have all the manuals, so I got the error codes covered. When I double press the inch button, nothing happens. We're starting to think a board is out.

Can you solve 15-06 error at first? (SF47->count)

I agree with Risu, the press will not run until you clear the Lube error. (15-06)

    Hey guys,

I lubed her up and cleared the SF 47 to count and the 15-06 is gone. Still no go. The inching light stays blinking but will not go to inching mode. Anthony's sending me a board, so that's my hope right now. Any other ideas?

15-06 is a peanut, but 15-01 is a motor drive electronic and cost much (6000€ at HD), could be fixe as well. Some times could be the main motor as well.

    Fixed it!

    Hey guys,

Got a new board (power supply) today and installed it and the problem persisted. So I started checking around the motor and the signal controller cable (I think that's what it is) fell out of the motor, like it was barely attached. I screwed it back on and we're back in business! Now how that cable got unscrewed is what I'd like to know!

    Thanks for all your help!
