I have been a print broker for over ten years and printed mostly from Guangzhou, China. I print mostly, magazines, calendars and some diaries. Now I want to set up my own offset press in Accra, Ghana to do my prints and also commercialise it. Please can you advise on the best type of machine and equipment I need to set up? And also the cost implications.

It depends on your budget, you can start with a single color press or if you have enough budget, you can go for a multicolor perfector. You also need to have equipment other than printing presses, like paper cutters, folding equipment and other bindery equipment. The list is huge.....

90-100k is too much for this press.

Depending on the condition we can get the same age press at around 70 to 80K.

Ok, this is a trade in price for 4 col machine? quality unknown? after you get that price , how about your selling price? my friend got a 4col machine for 60k year 1993, repairing almost 30k....(still not complete), i not a dealer as well, i am a pressman, i handle this machine. no major breakdown. water easy control, register can fit 95%, feeder- overprint for 6-8col job not a problem for this machine. minor repair is to change the gripper on 1st unit.

If there is no major issue with the press then why are you selling it? You mentioned in the earlier post that you are using one unit as a spare unit, so it means you you are exchanging worn parts with the spare unit.
I am also not a dealer.

Yes,I take out all roller to exchange. Due to our sales down , and other printer price is cheaper (1000print/1.30$/color with paper supply) so we decide to close down all production line and do it as trading.
