Can anyone please let me know the difference in features between Mitsubishi 3E & 3D series. If 3E is a 1988 Model and 3D - 1990 model, which one would be more advanced in features and what extra features would it have ?
    Thanks.

    My friend
Talking of that , it is possible that each one of them was installed as a basic press , or as a fully loaded press at first , according to the order made by the buyer , but the bigger question is , what will still be working today after 25 years , and what will you do once it stoppes.
If you buy an old press , make sure it is from a firm that still supplies spare parts ans service.... Mitsubishi ????
It is hard to get parts for presses over 2000 , nover the less before 1990...

want a cheap press that will work good ?
Buy a press from Heidelberg or Komori and be safer
    Good luck

    Thanks Meny.
But the dealer through which I am buying the machine also promises to arrange all the spare parts stock relating to the machine he is selling which is Mitsubishi 3E. Ofcourse it's based on how much you trust the dealer and his reputation.

Can you please guide me in comparing the Mitsubishi E series and D series ?
Ofcourse since E series would come after D series so we can assume that E series would be having some extra features than D series. So can you please let me know as to what extra does E series have as compared to D series ?

Let me be as clear as i can:
Some parts can not be found even at Mitsubishi Japan and your press cab be at Idle for long while you look arround.

    The Dealer had promissed ?
Well you know what they say , you need to keep promises...

If you ask me....Keep away for the best

I can tell you this much as to being very experienced with a 3E is that they are work horses. Most parts still available that we have needed. Mitsu changed water&ink rollers from model year to model year(unlike Heidelbergs that have common cores). The E's with the G dampening units were good.
