    Hi

My second hand mfc9450cdn is playing up, I can't work out whether it's got a faulty toner or faulty drum.

It does not print black-only prints properly (like a document), but for colour prints it prints black reasonably well (I think with mixed colour prints it's using cyan, magenta, yellow to produce the black.

I have scans of the two attached. I was wondering someone who is very familair with these small office printers would be able to shed some light into what is faulty here. Toner or drum. The black toner is actually genuine Brother, the other 3 are remanufactured. The Black is also full whereas the CMY are on <15% so I am surprised that the black is giving me trouble.

    Your thoughts?

it was a faulty toner. Got a cheap compatibble for £12. But I think the drum probably needs changing itself.
