The console should show the location of the error no?. Sometimes the side panel covers/doors can come loose and will trip a error. Little bugs drove me nuts till I figured them out. WAY too many sensors and safety gadgets on these. Can't remember what 108 is sorry. Would be 08 on the console I think if it applys. Can check monday if you don't get a answer. There was one time one of the impression light sensors was starting to go. Check to see they are all in working order. When 1 goes it relays to the next as a missed sheet and stops the press. PIA for sure. Forget the error code it threw but was able to bypass it till it was replaced. Check them for the little red/green lights and they sequence/flash.

    figured it out

Thanks for the reply guys - I figured it out - the reason why 108 has no reference in the Hamada manuel is because the 108 code is for the sensor on the after market AirTech spray powder/infra-red dryer

Turns out the mirror that the sensor light bounces off was caked with melted powder

I have been running this press since 1997 - This may have happened 10 years ago but long forgotten - and maybe why it finally came to me

    Thanks again

    Dave

It can be hard to diagnose things without seeing but I'll give it a try. I can't remember which cover 22 is, I'm not at work today. If the cover is loose this will trip the error message. I've had to add washers to the screws so covers don't move even the slightest bit as this can trip them. So take a good look at things. You can bypass the cover but it'll remain a safety issue until it's resolved. Look at the cover solenoid in question. You'll see 2 contact posts together and a 3rd one higher but the 3rd isn't a concern. The 2 that are side by side, pull the lead off and put it on the contact post right next to it. This will bypass the solenoid and allow you to run with the cover as is, open or removed. This is the same for all cover safety solenoids on the press. This should get you running for now until you can fix it.

Hello FFR428, 22 error is lower cover error. I check the press looking for the cover solenoid but am not sure where I should look , you said 'Look at the cover solenoid in question. Please where? Inside the door switch? Or in the electrical panel box?

Sorry took some time to snap a pic. Work has been busy. Your press looks a little newer than mine. But here's what mine looks like. When I need to work on machine with cover open or off I just switch the top connector to the next pin beside it. this will bypass the safety on that cover.

Thank you for the effort, yes mine does not have this (your pics) but it has Omron Door switch/Limit switch(attached)
I solved the problem by changing fuse 2 inside the control panel. I was surprise myself because the manual
says 22 is unit1 lower cover! in searching for help i read somewhere that when the fuse f2 goes out that the press
may show anything, so i changed the fuse and all works perfectly. Thanks again we back on production.

Good production to all, I await response, thank you
