Hi again everyone, following from my last post im completely unsure of where to even look for printers. Ebay doesn't seem to be showing many results and i'm now completely confused as to what i'm looking for.

essentially i want something to use for indoor and outdoor applications such as canvas prints and fine art as well as signage and printing on vinyl (to accompany the new cutter).

Can anyone suggest any specific models and whether in your opinion it should be eco solvent, uv or latex etc.

Budget isn't huge, looking to spend around £2000 on a machine for the time being.

    Hello

For a $2700 budget, there are a few models that are available for what you want to do. Epson's 9890 would be good for canvas printing and fine art as well as signage. If you're wanting to do outdoor printing (the media staying outside for more than a month) you're better off going with latex (HP Latex) which will print on almost any media...pigment, solvent and latex. These printers are more in the $9-10,000 range, but will provide the quality and durability you're looking for.
