Succesful Mailing Tabs and Wafer Seals for Xerox iGen 3/4 users

    Hey Folks,

    I just wanted to share that we have had tremendous success with the Fuzer Tabs used for direct mail peices off of the iGen3/4 presses. We like others struggled for months trying stronger adhesive tabs/ seals for closure of these printed peices.

    From the lab that created the adhesive their product simply does not stick but fuzes the seal to the print. The chemistry is made to react with the fuser lubricant from the press and created an incredibly bond.

    Since this is not an advertising forum I won't publish the details but if you or anyone you know in the iGen world is having troubles, drop me an email and I will forward you the supplier information. They have been a lifesaver for us.

    iGen4 Compatible Tabs

    Did any of you get a response or have any news to share on this subject?
    We are able to tab coated substrates only, have not found a tab that will bond to uncoated.

    Good morning all,

    I am a mailing tab (wafer seal) manufacturer in New Jersey - we are trying to develop a solution to the iGen fuser oil issue for our tabs.

    The only issue I am having is getting samples of printed materials from the iGen to test - would anyone here be willing to help?

    On our iGen4 we are having issues with tabs peeling off the toner of any lightweight substrates.. 100# gloss text, 80# gloss text, etc. One side is fine, but second printed side, if the tab is moved (or a tape test is performed) the toner comes right off. Anyone have thoughts??

    We just purchased the Accufast FX and have had several issues with wafer sealing prints for our IGEN 3. We've tried a few different products so far and haven't had much luck. My email is balworth@servicepointusa.com thank you in advance

    I would...but..by the time you would get the printed sample the oil will have dried and any tab will now stick!!!
