Be kind please. I have been in the trophy and awards business for 25 years, I just got the opportunity to purchase a never used 4 year old HPz3200ps for doing banners and such. I just connected it to my computer and it is telling me that my ink has expired. Question, should I replace all 12 ink cartridges, or try it the way it is. I really got this at a steal and if I have to replace all I will, just looking for advise. This machine has only been used about 10 times total. Thank you for any and all comments and advise.

HP does have a setting where when the inks are expired, the printer will register it that way and state this error.
Typically, you can try to use them and replace the ones you need or replace them all. I know that there are chip resets around, but I wouldn't know where to look.

Here are the inks through our site if you're interested in seeing prices for this model.

Just keep using the carts. The printer will continue to report out of date carts but doesn't block usage.

If you are worried, remove them and give them a shake then let them settle for an hour or two before use.

Most of my carts have been out of date for years. In fact I actively look for those out of date carts as they do not seem to deteriorate and are very much cheaper than new.

Just give them a good shake before use.
