Polar ed 92 display fault

DEAR FREINDS,
I have this problem for past one month. The Display of my polar cutting machine ED 92 is blank. some time it shows display. I check and installed new connectors and check the display card, everthing is fine. so pl advice me on this, so that it will help me a lot

when you do have display is it normal or mising parts/dark etc ?
is it full colour model or the dreaded red screen?

 

thanks for reply . when i have the display it is normal. it full colour monitor. the problem is so weird , we could not understand the problem
i checked the display card and changed the connectors. shall i try changing the display panel????

Is this display completely switched off, or is the display getting darker and darker.
If it is darker and darker, the display can be fixed.
If it is off. There is more than just one display. Beginning with the software-Version 1.4.0 the display was changed. And you cannot mix the two systems. I don’t think the first version is still available. In this case you need a full kit.
You need the machine number or better the software-Version. Afterwards you know which display you need.
You can ask the official Heidelberg agency for the price as well.

But I dont understand why i must buy full kit (display+controller+kit+inverter etc..)I think, this is not necessity.Polar factory dont produce display panel.The factory must buy from Lcd-Tft supplier(sharp,lg etc..).if a lcd screen is broken, we must not buy full kit.buy a sharp,suny,lg etc lcd display is enough.But connector sockets must compatible( adaptable ).For example 31 pins socket...
For a basic broken lcd screen(8,9" or 10,4" etc.) request 2200 EUR is unscrupulously!!!!(excuse me.for temporizing seller).In my opinion, if we can find a lcd with compatible socket, we can change display screen.

we have polar 115 E No: 7131442

suddenly the display was dark . but all function is ok . the display not completely off. it is only goes dark this means i can see the program list if i was very near to the display and using flsh light from my mobile.

would you please help me to solve this problem . i am an electrician

 

Dear Sirs,

Any faulty LCD matrix of the Polar Mohr cutters can be replaced by the same one of a corresponding OEM (SHARP, HITACHI,.. not by Polar Mohr). And in case of a faulty back light (as it described in the last post by Mr. Ahmed Elsebaie), CCFL lamps and/or converter could be replaced with any similar and suitable ones.

Hi sir:

1) If you polar is 115 e Monochrome:

a) measure first +24Vdc in KC2
b) +5vDC IN KC2, Must be in tolerance the power supply , otherwise first fix it power supply or replace, be sure connectors are o.k with a Good contacts
c)MEASURE g2 =3.6Vdc and replace if is lower.
d) look for dry and colder solder joints very Well!!
e) Plasma display must be 90 -105 Vdc connector CN2 !!!!
f( look well for connector X508

2) if you Polar is 115 ED, Color, due the same measure mentioned before excepts: for TFF Display = 450Vac
