I was just wondering how you guys have your electrical wiring setup in your individual shops.

Are you running dedicated breakers and lines to each machine or are you running a larger breaker with a bigger wire in a loop to multiple outlets? Do you use one big breaker box or utilize sub breaker boxes? How many amps you have going to your facility?

Everything single breaker and line - easier and safer when equipment has to be tagged and locked for repair.
Cost a little more to set up but you will be glad you did. We have seperate boxes for each press room segemnet. We are running 13 Diddie Webs plus bindery.

How do you like the diddie web presses? I was trying to find an 8.5x11 one to get into just to save on paper costs. Do they still make them? Are parts still plentiful?

Keep in mind I've never dealt with offset before personally.

Super Web has parts and service and units for sale.
Best little press around, they always just work.

At our print shop it has a breaker for each piece of equipment and boxes for each area. We have 220 volt 3 phase power for a total of 600 amps.
