Hi All, I have a 1999 SM102 Cp2000 console Heidelberg. The water forms are staying on after you shut feeder off. If you hit e-stop on the press they will release slowly. This is happening on ALL 8 Units. Any ideas?

I'm not sure but aren't they supposed to stay on for a bit after the feeder stops?

Sound like something have selected on the screen If i was you i would go into every screen and check your settings again. All units to do the same is more a setting/program issues. Funny thing is many years ago i remember the same problem, but for the life of me i cannot remember what i did to resolve it back then. This may be nothing, but what is your pneumatic air pressure reading ? just you mentions "will release slowly" ? sounds like air or ink issues. Let me know please. :)

NotAGonner: Yes it does and you can program the roller to turn more or less depending on things. The roller should not slowly release.. Should all come off quickly?

NOTAGONNER: Yes there are pre and post-dampening setting you can set to number of revolutions you want. They are fine I reset them.

I thought it was an air issue as well. But my air pressure is good.

Ours did that. Our heidelberg air dryer quit. We didnt know. Whole air line system was full of water. Pneumatic relays started failing all over the press. Open the bleeder behind the feeder. See if water comes out. Should be dry. That dryers parts were not available. We installed an in line dryer. Took time to work out the water and damage but we got through it.
