Friends give me an idea of choosing between Mitsubishi or KBA. I am planning to buy a CPC Mitsubishi or CPC KBA with 4 color straight machine. So please help me out to take a wise decision.
None of them is my idea Analists think that in 2-3 years only one company in Germany will build presses , and that looks like heidelberg Also that one company in Japan will be left - and that looks like Komori Both mitsubishi & KBA are having the future under clouds , and unclear. If you buy a press and in 2 years time have no parets or have a problem to find them...buying a cheap press would turn out expensive. I would recommend , buy a Komori or a Heidelberg even if they cost more - it will pay off in the long run Good luck
Which analists predict this ? With Ryobi fitting digital engines to there B2 press range so personalisation is now an option at litho speed, I cant see them going anywhere in the next 2-3 years.
LOL! I think you may want to listen to other "analysts". Heidelberg and MAN Roland are losing money faster than they can make presses. Both have had many trails and tribulations with ownership over the past few years and the future doesn't look much better for either one. KBA is the only healthy German manufacturer left and at least here in the U.S., they are walking all over Heidelberg. My money would be on Komori and KBA.
KBA walking all over Heidelberg??? Not on their best day could they even wish to walk all over Heidelberg. Yes, Heidelberg may loose a sale to KBA, but they also loose sales to Komori, Mitsubishi and Mann Roland, just like Mann Roland, Mitsubishi and KBA looses sales to Heidelberg. If you are looking to buy a quality printing press, made in Germany, not the czech republic and you want components of the press made in europe not china, than buy a Heidelberg. Yes you are going to pay more money but it comes back in the long term. Less down time, quicker response of mechanics and faster delivery of parts. I tell my clients that a used Heidelberg is better than a new KBA any day of the week.
Hai IPES could you send me the other details of the machine you mentioned, to my mail id vgbala11@gmail.com If possible you could also send me the images of the machine you have mentioned. I am also looking for a Heidelberg plate setter, if you have one, you could send me the details of the plate setter too.
