Our Komori L526 1989 just stopped while printing and will only inch and crawl, but not run. No lights are on, we have checked all guards and stop buttons and none are triggered, oil level is good. The technician suspects it's a limit switch or a relay sometwhere, problem is our electrical diagram is missing only the pages with this specific information... Another intermittent problem that have occurred once or twice is that the E-stop lights will come on, with nothing visible wrong. If you switch the machine off for a while it is back to normal again, I don't want to override the e-stops, but also want to find and solve this problem.

Are these problems related? Any suggestions to fix them? Where can I find electrical diagrams?

Let's start with the "only inch and crawl", is this with Tuneup ON? Generally if the press "will only inch or crawl" with the Tuneup ON, there is a safety cover problem. The place to start is with the PLC inputs. You do not provide a serial number but I am going to guess that you have a FujilogB style plc. If so start checking the inputs - they are located in two different sections. Make sure the cover input is on, make sure the trip input is off, etc.

Shouldn't this be "if the press will only inch or crawl with the Tuneup off"?

But then everything else mentioned is a good place to start!
