Hi, I would like to know how much makeready time (until 1st OK Sheet) will it roughly take for a Heidelberg 102 perfecting 8 colour or difrent ofset mashine. We have for 4+4 colour jobs in first make ready 90 min. and next section 40 min. ( i work on Heidelberg sm 102, 8 colour, made 2012 year with axis control ) What do you have in your Company times ? I Run a Heidelberg sm102 6 unit UV and My company gives us 10mins per plate and we are all in the dark on every job we do, we have no pre press ink settings no auto density program, our press is a 1995 shes old even the Sanden roll fed offset has a 10min per plate on set up (1 hour) 30 more days our brand new Heidelberg 105sm will be up and running on full density with in 300 sheets
With Axis control and ink profiles from prepress 15-20 minutes per 4/4 makeready. Your colour should be 95% on from prepress if not you need to work on you characteristic curves for ink profiles.
