exactly for the same reason in India no one wants perfector presses - lack of knowledge.

the less times you pass the stock in the press the less problems
when you have a 2 color press , you get a 2 color result , so need not only to work less , but you get a better picture of the final job sooner - better fit too.

I am willing to listen to any explanation by the vetrans , but "it is better this way" is not an explanation...

They use to say single color printing is better coz its not printef wet on wet ink a drying occurs before next color
Is this a reason to print better

    With old ink - right
with new inks = modern inks - wrong , it is not a problem at all.

When you print 4 colors you get a result on the spot and you know what you get.
when you print one ink after the other , you guess , even if you have 50 years of printing , and you only know what you get for sure at the end.

A cart & donkey is safe - do you drive a donkey to work ?

I myself prefer 2 color but 4 is the way to go if you have the volume of jobs to do in 4 color. Other wise my 3302 can print 4 color all day and look beautiful. But I don't do tons of 4 color work so it's all my shop needs.

No they are quite a pain if you don't do a lot of two sided jobs. Most people don't know much about them I have never ran one but have talk to guys that have and most say they are fine if you know what your doing. Not a lot of technicians will work on em. Your call on what to purchase tho don't get something you don't need

but perfector press comes cheap and straight always costlier.
if we purchase a perfector and doing straight work on them say 2 color perfector machine and doing 4 color job on it.
what is the position of the registration is it troublesome to achieve registration on perfector presses? if yes then can it be corrected mechanically or it remains and comes again after some time. say 2-3 months??
