Image Memory???

    We are a large sheetfed printer and just got our 1st UV press. What kind of mileage can we expect to get out of a our blankets before we get image memory? I realize its likely dependent on inks, fountain solution, and other variables but just looking for a ballpark #.

    Hi Tom

    I would say if you buy good quality UV quick releas blankets , you can use them up to 3 million impressions , just like the conventional , but the point is GOOD BLANKETS made for UV , not the combi ones that will die sooner

    on UV rubbers it is not possible to avoid image memory completely
    with the combi rubber of such effect didn't notice.
