HP Z3200 and Lexjet Sunset Reserve Bright Matte Canvas problem

I have to desaturate red and yellow @ -30 each from the Photoshop CS6 print window to get a reasonable print. I have profiled the canvas using the built-in photospectrometer. The same problem occures with Lexjet gloss canvas also. Prints I make on HP Everyday Gloss Paper come out perfect. My monitor is calibrated correctly.

Any ideas?

I figured it out! I had been using the printer to manage color. I changed to Photoshop Manages Color. Works fine!

Hope anyone who has this problem can use this solution. The interesting thing is that on regular paper the printer manages the color ok.
