We are having a problem on a Shinohara 52 II where the lead edge in one location is being nicked. We've adjusted the delivery gripper finger that is inline with the nick and have even removed the gripper finger completely but it is still nicking the sheet. Any thoughts? Thanks!

spotch a little ink on the suspect gripper finger and see if it matches the nick, narrow it down a bit

I am not familiar with your presss ,but if its not the del. gripper it must be the feed gripper denting it.If its the del gripper it would be every 3rd sheet or however many bars you have.if nick is in every sheet it has to be cyl gripper.

yes I would agree ..if you took out the del gripper and still have the nick...then it it either the infeed or cylinder gripper.....check those out
