I have a 6010, your having issue with the gray page? or all your pages?
If its rather consistent band in the image, it may just be time to change your Corona wires/Grids.
If its just with gray, you can try two things:

1: make your the gray is just a half tone of black, and not a rich gray (CYM build)
2: change your dither patter for this job (Gradient dither to "Gradation" and resolution to "color")
Or change both to gradation. The dither options are in your "system settings" panel from the touch screen terminal.

This should correct your issue. I keep my Dither pattern on "Gradation" & "color" at all times actually.

    I'm Printing your file now....

Its definitly a rich gray, Change the dither patter like a reccomended, and you will have much better results.
Change the color itself to 25-40% black or so, and you will have the best results possible..

I did print the file. All colors are looking good an consistent.
Trust me about the Dither patterns, use them to your advantage.
Also, It could be your developer/Drum. Your drums may not be holding there charge equaly.
I assume the machine is recently Calibrated? How was the final stage of calibration, view your Taget vs measurment chart.

That's a shame that they would say that. You're not trying to print anything overwhelming. The 6010 can certainly handle it.

OK, let's change your Dither. The dither pattern is how the toner is applied to the sheet. (you can physically see this under a loupe if you have one) Its quite interesting.

    1: Additional Functions
    2: System Settings
    3: Pg4 - Device Management
    4: Dither Pattern

Use the settings I gave you a few posts back. There are also a few other interesting settings hidden in that device management tab. Just remember you will need to manually re-set anything yuou choose if you wish to go back to default.
