Hi guys, I'm having trouble with my delivery at the moment on my 98 Lithrone 528. Not major, but I struggle getting above 13000iph. I've just had all the grippers reset and slow down wheels cleaned out. Now I want to replace some fans to see if that will help controlling the sheet better. they all still go but some have busted blades. Problem is I have been quoted $100 each and there are 12 of them. I think I could do better but I don't know where to get them.

Has anyone got any suggestions?? I know they are just like a pc fan but 24v

    The fan model I have is San Ace 120, Model # 109P1224H108, DC 24v, .25A, EP 040726F

Or if anyone has any other ideas on tricking up the delivery that would be good to

I hope you do not mind me say so , but if for 1200 $ you can get your delivery sorted out and get to a higher speed in production - it is worth it.

May be you can find a trick and itwill cost you 200$ less , but the trail & error & your time are worth something too ?????

    Good luck

SM 74 is good for paper , ni good for 380GSM board.

If you need to print board and you want reasonable quality , you need double cylinders , like the CD 74 or a Komori L 428 or a Roland 500..... but not a SM 74

    Good luck

A busted blade will wreak havoc with that small sheet. When in a pinch, we have moved the busted fan to the back row, or moved it to a not so improtant area, that might help.

Have have matched up a few different fans at the loco machine shop, for both Komori and Heiddelberg at a fraction of the price.

Try Digikey and Mouser Electronics. Find the ones with the nearest current drain (0.25 Amp. or 250 ma.). A little more current should give more air flow.

Just wondering if you cleaned out the filter for the slow down wheels. Powder gets sucked up and the slow down wheels don't suck.
Also on the side of the slow down/suction wheels. Looking from the side of the press. There is a plastic cap on both ends. There might be a crack in the cap and you'll loose suction.

Also if you have a sheet decurler check to see if the holes are not clogged. They fill up easily with powder, and will be much more effective if wide open.

I had a 628 with 4 holes cut out above each fan. I cut them out and made them each into one and that helped a lot.
