    Hello Everyone,

I am in the market for a 2 colour Heidelberg SM52-2 year 1997-1999, and recently I was offered a 2003 Komori L220 II, nicely loaded at a very interesting price. The thing is I have always owned Heidelberg machines, and have a hard time choosing between these 2 presses.
My local market is mainly Heidelberg, and parts for komori may be hard to get.
If any body has worked on Komori B3 format, please let me know. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    L-220 . Sm 52-2

In my opinion based on selling , printing , installing & servicing 20" Komories , this is a good choice.

The good thing about it is that you do not need to be concerned about spare parts at all - it is very very rare that you need them at all , and if you do you will be able to get them from Komori in 1-2 days , any place on the planet , but many many parts can be found on the free market - as a lot are STANDARD parts , and not special ones make by Komori / for Komori.
In the part's book you will find the standard part codes for any part you can buy on the free market and not from Komori.

The 220 has better quality too - go for it

I would never buy a HB speedmaster 52 older than 5 jears. De reparations are way to mutch. Komori cost are way lower. Dont think the 20 inch is superior. But if youre looking for a decent press. Komori would be the choice

Komori every time...I have owned Sprints and Lithrones from 26 to 28, perfectors and straight, from 2 to 6 col...all have the same ease of use and quality print coupled with low maintenance and high productivity. Go for it!
