Want to know How durable or the life expectancy of laser toner for exterior applications, say like bumper stickers.

I'm familar with pigmented inkjet inks. just want to know if laser toner holds up better?

Do they or should they have a UV coat?

I have not noticed any appreciable fade with our xerox or canon toners with pieces displayed on the wall getting sunlight from a window for over 2 years.

The major downfall to toner durability is cracking when a piece is folded or scuff resistance when a piece occasionally gets stuck in the postal service sorting machines.

Ive found with using laser toner its fine as long as you print with the fuser on high heat and use an over laminate this should provide a durable long lasting label.
