Unit 4 (yellow) is not printing correct or vibrant shades of yellow.

do you mean the colours before the yellow are picking up into the yellow and discolouring the ink

Does not seem to be an ink migration problem. The yellow is dull. I washed the press and I changed the ink.

Check your roller stripes, sometimes the third form roller is not touching the distibutor roller and does not clean up properly. It may have old ink on it that has not washed off.

Carry out extensive maintenance on your equipment clean everything and replace inks, if that doesn't work not sure

I had issues regarding the dullness of yellow when using several different brands of ink.

I found the problem was rubbish ink. It was yellowish.

We switched to classic colours, their range is fantastic and the only DI ink I have used that allows us to produce anything that looks like traditional litho.

(are old ink wasn't vibrant yellow coming out of new sealed tins.)
