Sm52 feeder pile height

Hi I have a problem, I have an Heidelberg SM52 4col, my feeder table will not lower, it would go up but not down, it is now at its highest point. Have you any ideas please.

 

Sounds like the lower limit switch is stuck. Its on the drive side of the feeder and its a square block that is activated by the pile as it lowers. Make sure its not stuck. Also, if this switch is stuck you should get some indication of this in the error screen.

 

Thanks very much for the advice, I have since sorted the problem it was the switch stuck on the inside of the cabinet on the operator side. I will make a note of your suggestion in case of future problems. Thanks for your help.
