Kord 62 Power supply

Has anyone ever changed the power supply of their Kord single colour from 3 phase to single phase (very old but great machine!)

 

I also use a KORD 62 and I don't think you would be able to do it as you would not be able to get the correct rpm from the motor and as there are various safety devices it may need 3 phase to work properly.

Any way I will check this with my technicians and give a correct wording soon

 

I have the electrical schematic, for K-offset Heidelberg. BUT i will charge it

Hey Bomber - do you have an electrician you work with? Any electrician should be able to wire in a single phase motor on your machine. The biggest difficulty would be to source the proper motor to accomplish the task. Motor mounting base, proper horsepower and matching spindle/shaft have to be kept in mind. Good luck!

Whats the purpose behind this anyway? Why do you want to convert from a 3 phase to single driven machine?
