There is a fuse behind the lower panel next to the console.
Not sure if the power requirements are the same but the # on the US version is A25X30-1
    30 Amps, 300 Volts.
It is inside of the black panel toward the top right. It's size is 14mm Dia. x 50mm long.

These tend to blow if the IR is set around 8 or above.

On the console side of the press, move the console out of the way so you can remove the large panel on the press. You must first remove the top panel to access the lower one. Inside the lower panel is a black control box that houses the fuse toward the upper right area.

    Ir light?????

If ur ir goes out and the lights need replaced, do u need to replace all the lights or just certain ones? is there a test u could do for this?

In the black box...it is always best to check the fuse first, as it has to be working before you can test the IR bulbs. If one bulb is burned out, the rest will still work. If you have no light at all, most likely is the fuse. The fuse is considerably less money to replace and is usually the problem.

IR lights range in lifespan from 5,000 to 7,000 hours depending on the manufacturer. This translates into 2.4 years - 3.3 years in work 8hour days. After this time period thier ability to function falls off dramatically, rendering them nothing more than heat lamps as they no longer put out the needed wavelengths to oxidize the ink properly and increase its ability to dry.

Considering the last DI came off the production line in 2002 I would say it would not hurt to replace all of them.

Be sure the press is off when changing the fuse :)
I think the fuses cost around $15 US dollars each. I'd recommend having a few spares on hand.

Even if the configuration is different between the various model years of the press, the IR fuse should be located somewhere in that section of the press where the rest of the fuses are located and the IR fuse would stand out from the rest of the fuses in that area, as it is larger than the rest.
