Hello people , i am not yet in ofset printing but willing to enter in this kind of bussiness. I am looking for QM46-2 , and i found one nearby so these days i am going to see it and do a test print. Can anyone tell me what are the main issues when buying this mashine? What are the problems that can be seen when test printing? For example this mashine has 27mil prints, is that a lot? etc...

**I am from Serbia, Novi Sad, East Europe and here we have good technicians for old heidelbergs and for new ones nobody knows nothing. I would be realy greatful if someone can give me some tips... thanx...

You are wrong, you have very good technicians for Heidelberg in Serbia especially for new presses.Technicians from Heidelberg Serbia install our XL 105 and I think they are quite good. Also and the instructor.

No doubt, but XL is premier league.
QM46 are down and out. Print quality iffy, too much electronics and an adversarial sparepart exchange system.

Well , not much tips for "what to look" , i bought QM46-2 , today ...

I just want to say to the guys replying to this post that i practicaly dont know anything about ofset printing i just wanted a good mashine for starters.
If i manage to work well and earn something satifiying , there will be no problem to buy used 4-5 color printing press.
Many work that came out of my studio was printed i other printshops so i thought why not print "in house" ... i hope it will work.
