We have a GTO 52 that has #1 cylinder moveing AHEAD on the run.

When you stop-it reajusts itself to "0" position-and after start up it will start to move ahead again

There is a small servo on the DS of the machine that actually moves the circumferential register. I would first remove the cover and watch this servo during operation, see if it makes any uncommanded moves. If so, it could be a potentiometer but likely its a board. Boards for circumferential and lateral movement on a GTO are under the consol. I would swap these boards and see if the issue moves to a different unit. Be advised that there are two different kinds of boards that control these motor, power supply and motor control boards. Power supplys can be swapped with each other and motor control boards can be swapped with each other, make sure the same type board goes into the correct slot.

Dan - Something else you may look at is the alignment pin on the double gerar of the plate cylinder. It's held in place by 4 6mm bolts (5mm allen caps), you may be loosing control of the circumferential register due to wandering of the cylinder. Good luck Steve

Problem is we rplaced all the washers-everything is tight. It also moved with the pot out and power off to the press from the console. Blanket cylinder ?

Dan, Have you looked at the alignment pin mentioned above? Stay with the plate cylinder for now. Steve

    hello.
GTO exists on the machines at the wheel of a record ciscunferencial small circle with four screws.
loosen all the bolts before removing to a risk they may check the current position. will then remove the piece off and stick your finger to see if there ferugem. if there will be a serious problem.
however that the part is level too high, Rein 1 / 4 back and tighten the siege.
has improved, why not just buy a new cone.
it is very rust, go telling replace the complete wheel.
    I hope to have helped.

    A few millimeters.
    usually see is the this:

if the job hits the crosses and then when it starts with the work he gives a bad record. always in the circumferential direction.
become the right without stopping the machine, he'll get right to the end.
the problem is always the machine stops ...
