    Hi,

I've read some of the threads of the forum. Very nice, lots of people who know a lot about printing.

I've some small-format printers, an HP and a Canon-brand. I also have some extra cartridges, and color registration isn't important anyway (mostly printing black and white).

Trying to print a bright red, and found out (through forum) that's not possible with standard CMYK.

It's only a single colour that I need to print for a logo on white paper, so colour registration is not important. Instead of a dedicated printer for this one job, what do you think about getting bright magenta and replacing the regular magenta in a spare cartridge?

I could fiddle with the on-screen colour until the output resembled what I wanted on the page.

It's the ten-dollar solution versus the 150+ solution.
