I'm operating a Ryobi 3302M with 8.5"x11.25" 110 lb. card-stock. After running roughly 20 sheets the press indicates a "Delivery Jam" and stops. This happens every-time I run the press but when I check the press every page is in place and there is no jam. I have adjusted the roller pressure knob but noticed no improvement. In my original setup the press ran flawless once I introduced ink the "Delivery Jam Error Started to Trip". I adjusted the spacing between the blanket and impression cylinder. Yet nothing. My registration is spot on an I haven't noticed any movement of the paper. I just ran the press this morning without ink and the press still stops with the Delivery Jam Error. The problem is getting progressively worse? Where is the "Delivery Jam Sensor" located? I'm sure an experienced pressman can quickly identify the problem. I'm trying to revive this press after years of neglect and abuse. Unfortunately I have never received any proper training with the press. Is it possible I'm missing a lubrication point? I have ran back and fourth through the manual but cannot find an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Ah I'm made some progress. I located the "Delivery Jam Sensor" cleaned it yet the problem persisted. I checked the air at the delivery end and felt nothing, I adjust the knob from low to high yet nothing. So I believe there must be some kind of clog in the line. Checking on it now.

I may have solved my problem, I traced the airline from the rear of the press to the very front opposite operator side. I had the "Blower Control Knob" too tight. In my attempt to separate the heavy card-stock I added too much air using the rear blower control knob by the feeder. This knob is tied directly into the rear airline causing all the air to blow through the front instead of the rear. I'll see if this fixes the problem.

Check the pressure of the imput feed rollers the first rollers the paper hits if the pressure is off this will trip the sensor but everything looks ok. Also if you have dark image on back sometimes this causes some problems. Good luck

All fixed. It was the air, I adjusted the "Blower Control Knob" by turning it down allowing the air to travel to the rear of the press and force the pages down to the stack.

If you were getting a delivery jam error I really don't think your air control has anything to do with your problem. Those adjustment are for how smooth the sheet lays down in the delivery. The sensor is located farther back in the delivery where the paper is still in the gripper bars. Unless the press came to a complete stop where an actuall paper jam triped the mechanical jam sensor by the front stop I think your problem will come back. So with that said here is what you can look for when and if the problem arises again. That optical sensor in the delivery is sensative and if the potentiometer is set on the low end sometimes ink coverage on the sheet in that area is enough to trip it. I have seen operators put a peice of tape over it after cleaning to help solve this problem. If you feel comfortable doing this there is a small pot on the sensor where a jewlers screwdriver will adjust the sensativity. If you look in your manual it will tell you how to set it properly if not a very small fraction of a turn at a time and some patients will find the sweet spot on that sensor. The very very last resort to get you through the job is to just shut the sensors off, now I do not recomend doing this in case their is an actual jam that can lead to press damage but they put an on/off switch on the sensors for a reason. Those are located on the right frame side by the floor under your delivery. Good luck
